Holiday & Food
activities (HAF)
The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme provides free, enriching activities and healthy meals for eligible children during the school holidays. This initiative supports families by offering fun, engaging sessions that promote learning, well-being, and social interaction.
shortbreak activities
This specialist provision is to offer ‘respite” shortbreaks which are intended to provide opportunities for children and young people with disabilities to have enjoyable experiences away from their primary carers, contributing to their social inclusion and personal and social development.
Swimming for young mums & baby
A fun, welcoming programme for young mums and babies at Pavilion Leisure Centre. Enjoy fully funded swimming sessions, meet other local parents, and access friendly post-swim support in a relaxed environment designed to build confidence, connection, and wellbeing for both you and your little one.

We are here to help you get extra support, advice, and signpost you to organisations and services that you might find useful in helping you to become more equipped to deal with these challenging behaviours.

what are families say about us

"The HAF programme has been a lifesaver during the school holidays. My kids not only had fun but came home each day with huge smiles and stories about what they learned. Knowing they were getting healthy meals too gave me real peace of mind.”
Sarah, mum of two, Bromley
“As a parent of a child with additional needs, the Short Breaks events have been amazing. It’s one of the few times my son feels fully included and supported. The staff are so understanding, and I get a little breathing space too, which is invaluable.”
James, father of Leo, aged 10
“We always look forward to every HAF holiday – the activities are brilliant, and it’s helped my daughter grow in confidence. She’s made new friends, tried
new things, and it’s completely free, which really helps us as a family.”
Sarah, mum of two, Bromley
“The Short Breaks sessions have been a real highlight for our family. My daughter has autism and struggles in busy environments, but these events are calm, well-organised, and she feels totally at ease. It’s been a huge boost for her confidence.”
Rebecca, mum to Sophie, aged 12
“The HAF programme gave
my son the chance to be active, make friends, and eat well
while I was working. It’s such a brilliant initiative – affordable childcare is hard to come by, so this support has made a big difference to us.”
Ahmed, parent of 9-year-old Samir
“We’ve taken part in both HAF and Short Breaks events, and every time the experience has been fantastic. The staff are kind and understanding, and the activities are tailored to every child. It really feels like a community.”
Laura, carer of child with SEND
